Financial Sales Associate Leader

Job Summary: This position is responsible for managing and scheduling the work of all financial sales associates in the assigned financial center office to ensure efficient teller operations during business hours. Generally, this position serves in a financial center office with up to $50 million in loans and deposits. Provides guidance to financial sales associates in complex client transactions, balancing daily settlements and meeting clients’ needs. Performs teller duties and may handle collections, notes or exchanges. Coordinates post FSA School training to ensure the successful transition from training to the branch in order to assume window or drive-through paying and receiving duties. Ensures adequacy of currency and coin supply.

Essential Functions: Provides stellar service to our clients by representing the bank in a courteous and professional manner while providing efficient delivery of service to internal and external clients. Greets clients with a smile, offers assistance, uses their names while processing transactions and shows appreciation for their business by thanking them and offering additional help. Looks for opportunities to exceed client expectations by placing all service efforts on client satisfaction. Creates a positive experience and builds client loyalty by listening, establishing rapport, identifying and meeting their needs. Identifies clients’ needs beyond the immediate transaction and successfully refers clients to the appropriate sources to address those needs. Develops additional account relationships by confirming referral opportunities and suggesting other bank services such as investments; alternative delivery; insurance; safe deposit boxes; traveler’s checks, etc. and linking product benefits to the client’s needs. Participates in meeting the financial center goals by promoting bank services and products as opportunities arise and participating in sales campaigns as identified. Participates in various community activities promoting the bank’s services. Focuses on expanding the number of deposits, loans and operational products and services utilized by each client. Makes client calls with primary focus on retention, excellent customer service and building banking relationships. Client calls will be accomplished through in-branch visits and phone calls.

Education, Skills and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; Minimum of two years prior teller experience Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written; Good organizational skills; Effective interpersonal and customer service skills; Leadership and sales ability/potential; Ability to solve problems; PC proficiency.
