Financial Center Manager
Job Summary: Manages a small branch office and extends credit to businesses and individuals. Exercises executive and administrative control over the functions of the office, including implementation of local policy and explanation of company programs, policies and objectives. Extends credit to businesses and/or individuals through a variety of commercial, installment, and/or real estate loan programs. Represents the company in the community and develops and promotes additional business. Attends to the needs of existing and prospective customers, including opening new accounts, certifying checks, and handling customer complaints. Maintains prescribed security controls to protect the facility against criminal and fraudulent operations and unnecessary risk or exposure. Incumbents extend credit to businesses and/or individuals, and may also have some business development responsibilities.
Education, Skills and Experience: This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience (5-7 years) This position requires 5-7 years of management experience, background in financial institution operating policies and procedures, banking regulations (state and federal), employee development and public relations, basic lending experience, in-depth sales and customer service experience. Good management and human resources skills. Must possess strong analytical abilities. Must remain calm and professional when dealing with customers, co-workers, and management. May be required to stand for long periods of time while providing customer service; may be required to lift up to 30 lbs. in the form of coin in order to provide customer service. Position requires good retention skills.
